I have to admit to looking through the Y blocks forum for ideas and information for my mainline ute.

Being on the other side of the world has it's own set of challenges and advantages. One advantage is that a local company does disk brake upgrades to Modern specs. http://www.hoppers.com.au/complete%20leaflet%20FEB%202007/index.html uses modern components to upgrade old favorites.

I bought the hoppers stoppers kit around christmas. I chose a few upgraded parts as I plan to keep the car for a while I wanted the best. The kit comprises of hub and bearings, PBR twin piston floating calipers (my choice of red) 298mm Slotted (upgrade) DBA kangaroo paw rotors, adaptor plate, mounting bolts washers and spacers (I had to buy additional shims).

I'm about three quarters through replacing the hard line to convert to dual system. The conversion was relatively easy. It should work well as these components are used on some of our sports Ford and GM products.
