Go to the top right of this page and you will find the Search function. Enter rocker oiling mods and you will bring up all previous discusions. You should find all the info that you need plus some that you don't.

Hi All,

I have a 272 y block from a '55 Mainline that I am having rebuilt.  I am aware of a bit of discussion about oiling problems for the rocker gear in these motors.  Interested if this is a problem and if yes how it can be overcome overcome. Smile

Thanks and regards

Maffra
