Guys, I need help here. Starter shaft length shorter in my old not working starter.

I cannot seem to get a specific catalog of Napa's to designate that there is any specific starter for the automatics.





Any help is appreciated!!

If your starter drive looks like ebay item 370495973118 it is the late 62 up starter drive. the armature shaft is shorter than the earlier y block starter. You will have buy a drive like this.

If the starter drive looks like 370496347584 it is the pre 61 starter
