Hello,

I need a replacement horn ring for my '55 Fairlane Victoria. The problem is I'm in the UK and they seem impossible to find over here, and expensive anywhere else!Unfortunately it looks as if I'm going to have to get one from the US.

My question is would a '54 ring fit my car (they seem to be a bit more plentiful and more affordable than the '55 ring, even if they don't look exactly the same),or are other '50s Merc/Ford steering wheel/ring combinations useable on a stock '55 column.

(I'm not too concerned about 'correctness',but I do want a period/50s set up.)

Thanks in advance,

Chris.
