I just purchased a new y block which was a deal and couldnt pass it up. I was told it was pulled from a 56 f100 and that is all that i know. The block numbers located on the generator side is ECG-6015-A. The head casting numbers are EBZ-M. If anyone can help narrow down the year the engine came from and either 272 or 292. I am guessing its a 272 block, which is what i was told. It also has "55 J" casted on the engine on the oil filter side. I am trying to identify the engine and info on the heads. Any help would be appreciated. thanks
