Mine is the model 011 T56 with an adapter kit for an FE with a few modifications to fit a yblock bellhousing. I believe these are sold as aftermarket kits from Tremec for FE ford engines. If they'll fit an FE then you know a yblock is in the near future, and the two overdrives are GREAT for cruising.

If the T 56 has the same bolt pattern as the T 5 there is a kit to mate it to the Y-Block engine. check out www.ford-y-block.com for the info. I think Gary Burnette has put one in his 56 thunderbird.

Actually its worth a search to read about Tesla and Edison. Tesla was the creator of AC while Edison was convinced that DC was the only way. Even though Edison was wrong he managed to literaly ruin Tesla. It was really the 50's before Tesla started getting the recognition he deserved. Many of his inventions are still not understood to this day. Not only advances in power distribution but power transmission without lines. And of course the infamous lightning weapon that some people blame for the destruction of a large forested area in Tunguska, Russia. He is the Y-Block of electricity! Chuck in NH

If I recall correctly, Tesla sued the Edison company for some type of patent infringement. Eventually the court found in Tesla's favor. Unfortunately, he had died by then... Also, there is a new electric car being built experimentally that is call a Tesla. Details?
