I have 2 NOS neutral safety switches: FOMOCO B8A-15512-B and AUTOLITE B7AZ-7A247-A. They are pretty much identical except the FOMOCO B8A has a little upward turn at the end in the groove on the lever where the column shift pin would be inserted.

The existing switch on my 1956 Crown Victoria is being jumped and I would like to replace it with one of the above. I am hoping that one or both of these will fit and allow the car to be started in PARK and NEUTRAL.

I am assuming the B8A is for 1958 fords and the B7AZ is for 1957 fords.

Can anyone verify that these will work on a 1956 Ford Crown Victoria and that one or both of these will allow the car to be started in Park?

Thanks,

Danny
