How thick is the spacer? An original (as far as I know) phenolic spacer is about a 1/2". You don't say what model of Holley U installed? Possibly later models are taller?..

All,

Was running an aftermarket Edelbrock carb with a low profile air cleaner. I put on a new Holley and replumbed the gas line to look original. Problem now is that the original large air cleaner won't clear the hood.

I want to remove the spacer on the intake. Does anyone know if that will be a problem? Also, let me know how to get it off. Any other suggestions are appreciated.
