55 and 56 heater motors will interchange if you don't care about the voltage.Others might also,but I know those two are alike.

Will heater motors from any other years work on a 55 Ford Fairlane?, I can use a 6 or 12 volt .
 Claim to fame is the car was used as an extra in the movie Diner with Micky Rourke, Steve Gootenburg, Paul Riser and Kevin Bacon.
