Jim, this site is the first & best place to turn for y-block info. Looking back at when I first built my 312 in '91, I remember what a pain in the **s it was without anyone to turn to who had at least heard of a y-block. Just say how much & where to send it.

I, too, want to contribute to help with the costs. I realize that for you it's not about the money, but it would be our way of showing appreciation and commitment to this site. Especially since you keep this non-commercial.
Thanks.

I am still good for it Jim, I dont believe you should bear the cost on your own, just post a method of payment and I'm in. Well done again on maintaining the site to date on your lonesome, its a great site and much appreciated, Regards

Yes, the changeover is in process, but we are still figuring out what the costs are gonna be to each of us. If at all possible, I want to continue funding the site as I have from the start. Kind of a personal thing to me. I am not the mechanic that a lot of you guys are, and this is the least I can do in the effort to keep the old cars a running. If it turns out to be a lot more than I can handle, then I will come back to you guys, but for now it is looking fairly good on keeping the thing self funded.

Jim: Along this same train of thought, I assume that the changeover has been at least started. All of a sudden talk about this stopped. Now it's time for the rest of us to put our money where our mouth is. Several of us pledged support, and you said you had a 3 way share going, and the money talk stopped. Now, how much is your third? I still think we should shoulder this cost. Give us a figure and a place to send the payments. Thanks for this site. John

I just spotted the announcement on FTE that Internet Brands, Inc. now owns Ford-Trucks.com. I realize that this web site is a more focused one and might not be as attractive to IB, but I'm wondering if y-blocksforever was approached by IB.
According to the message on FTE, nothing will change, but that can't be true. Eventually it will change because of the acquisition. I'm sure IB will want to 'maximize their return on investment' at some point and then FTE will lose the qualities that made it the valuable resource that it is. No knock on Ken Payne, but that's the way it works.
Jim, thanks for creating this web site and keeping it non-commercial.
