I put new seals and rings in to my FordOMatic transmission. Now it won't shift into high gear. Any ideas???

Does it attempt to shift and the engine race, or does it not attempt to shift at all?

If I put it into low and shift up to drive; it shifts smoothly. Start out in drive ... and it doesn't attempt at all to shift. Run it up to 60 mph and no attempt whatsoever to shift.

The first thing I would do is check the kickdown linkage adjustment.
