I am using this MSD distributor cap-adapt kit and MSD 8.5mm plug wires (90 Degree female ends on the cap and multi-angle at the plugs) with a MSD6 Ignition Box, Blaster Coil and Petronix distributor kit.

I managed to use the stock plug wire boots inside the metal looms with some tweaking. I think I had to cut open the side of each rubber insulator inside the metal clamps to let the fatter wires fit in a group. This would be the loom nearest the spark plug end of the wires. I did that about 5 years ago and no problems.

I used a universal Taylor set. I think I had to buy the straight distributor boots and metal pieces separately. Taylor makes these. Go to http://www.taylorvertex.com/ The straight boots and metal pieces are part # 46059

Regarding the stock looms, one set I did I used the stock looms. They were a tight fit but worked with some work on the holes to ,make them slightly larger.. The other set I did, I couldn't make the stock looms work and made up the pieces for the stock holders out of some kind of plastic that I can't remember the name of..
