Anyone out there have a manual choke on a AFB style type carb? I've been trying to figure out how to install it so if anyone has a photo so I can see how to that would be great. I can't seem to find a kit that Edelbrock supplies for a manual choke.

I have an Edelbrock with a manual choke on my car. I bought it (new) as a manual choke carb as this is what my 54 came with and I wanted to keep it that way. I will try to post a pic tomorrow.

Attached are two pics. The piece that holds the cable is Edelbrock and came with the carb. I had to made the hole on the arm on the choke butterflies bigger to accomodate the round thing that holds the inner wire. The round thing I got either from a hardware store or a parts store.

Thanks that will help a lot, I have some of those where I work basically it's just a wire stop but it works perfectly for the job.
