Hi Lon, sorry to here your crook, hope it's not the bad strain thats going around. Here in Victoria a 4 year old died from it a couple of days ago. Back to the gear box, I can't help to identify the model but it would be the same as my 60 panel. Ratios are 6.40, 3.09, 1.69, 1.00 with a 3.89 diff, it has a 6 bolt p.t.o opening on the right hand side, maybe that will help some body else to identify it. Your right about the low gearing I have a 3.00 diff in the panel and can still move off in 2nd if its not a hill start .

Wintertime in Australia. Five days in bed; that sounds like a nasty flu. I'll have to get another flu shot.
I thought the early BW's were T-98's, the forerunner of the T-18.

Haven't had time to play on the new toy (58 F100 ) as I've been in bed the past 5 days with the flu .Is the 4 sp gearbox in the F100 a BW T18 ???. First gear is so low ,you could pull a bend out of a river ??? As far as I know all F100's in Au came with 4sp and not 3 on the tree .???? .Any ideas ??? Regards Lon
