I was considering trying some in the oil just a little worried as it is a friction modifier and Im not to sure if certain motors like it? The old "Y"?

Yes I am well aware of things like addatives being bandaid fixes etc .. I am not in a  position to start rebuilding just yet, the motor isn't too bad but being 50 + years old and well over 100,000 miles maybe she could do with a little help to stop a few rattles and blow-by for now..

Anyone tried it?
