it was a stencil in regular old stencil type. It should be reapplied with a spray can if your are trying to be original. I made a pattern from my original and hand cut the stencil.

Hi,

Getting ready to restore the drive shaft on my 57 tbird.  The original numbering is still on it, although it is worn and light.  I was wondering, does anyone know what style of lettering that was used, cuz I have a buddy that does vinyl signs etc. and he will cut the stensil if I can tell him what type of lettering it is.

thanks
