Been tracking down the parts necessary for the trans conversion in my 55 Tbird. Got most of them through Gary Burnette ( real nice guy) but am still looking for a couple of items, also a question regarding the install for those that have done it.

How much (if any) modification was necessary the the X member under the car to accomidate a t-5 transmission ?

Also does anyone know where I might find a dust cover for the bottom of the stock bellhousing and the adjustment rod that goes between the clutch fork and the z bar ? Is that adjustment rod Tbird specific ?
