It should be a combination label for jacking and jack storage.



It is on the flat surface behind the spare tire before the trunk drop off in the wheel well.

Lower edge of the label is along the crease line of the floor panel and 5" inward of the trunk drop down to the spare well.

I'm not sure about the Ford location but on my 1955 Mercury it's on the inside of the trunk lid.  When you raise the lid it's right in the center where the reinforcement rails form an X in the center of the trunk lid.

maybe not totally technical question but where is the correct position for for the jacking decal on a '56 sedan?
