Ooops, my mistake, I thought you were talking about the crank handle clips.(that is the one to the far right in the pic) What I use for the door panel clips is a flat pair of electrical crimping pliers, has the flat wide nose and you can normally pry off with those. Take a wooden paint stick and install under the pliers so you don't mar the paint.

I got a set for my Firebird door panels from Eastwood. It might be the same thing. They're excellent quality, stainless steel, I think made in England. And they're not too expensive. http://www.eastwood.com/door-panel-and-trim-removal-set-of-3.html

The first tool on the left is the one for the panel clips. The one on the right is for the clips on the inside handles.

I have the last tool on the right that I use for the "C" clips on the door and window handles, but I don't think it will work for the door panel clips Rono

I have used the last one on the right.Still have to play with it to find the right position to push the clip off.

The tool is a flat piece of metal with a slot in it, you slide that in and it pushes the clip off. I have used a small pick before with the 90* bend on the end and pulled them off. If I was at the garage I could take a pic of the tool.

Does anyone have a favorite type/brand of door panel trim clip removal pliers they like? I don't want to tear-up my finished 56 interior panels using a pair of flat blade screwdrivers. There is one type of pliers that compresses the clip together and another type that braces the back of the panel and the door and pulls straight out. Thanks, Rono
