I run a 1952 Cadillac Carter WCFB, a direct bolt on. Even feeds from the back. If you remove the Holley 4000 you should also change the distributor to a 57-62 with centrifugal/vacuum advance if you have the original Loadmatic..
The Rochester 4GC and Carters from the early Cad, Buick, Olds, Packard will bolt on. I needed to make one small adapter on the linkage to fit the Ford perfectly. I used a phenolic 1/4" spacer also. I like the Rochester better because I know more about them and have a line on a nicely restored one.
I purchased the WCFB from a Carb Shop in Lynwood Ca. I has no air/gas leaks, tight shafts, and perfect threads even on the choke. The combo of the carb and dist works perfect on my stock 292 202 HP.
They will not accept the original air cleaner but with some work (cutting up an original and welding) you can make look stock. Good Luck
