Any recommendations for headers that will fit without too much modification in my 1956 Club Sedan with 312 Y block?  Thanks, Ron

Ron;

John Mummert has a nice set on his website, but as far as I know they are not available yet. Maybe he can update us here with a ballpark date they will be available and a (ballpark) price. Also, Jerry Christenson will make a set for you and he advertises in the Y Block Magazine. I am using a set of Red's Passanger Dual Tube Headers in my 56 Customline that were an easy fit, but I'm sure don't flow as well as Jerry's or John's (when his get on the market. Here's a picture of what the Red's Headers look like.

I've been holding out for a set of Jardine's from Mummert site. Those Red's are really just for looks. Jerry C. had a set he cut open to reveal the lousy innards. Chuck

Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.

If your 56 has original exhaust manifolds, the bigger volume of 57 & later one would help & be a lot less trouble than headers.

As Chuck mentions, some of those block hugger headers are hardly worth the expense & time to install.
