Beautiful! i wish i could see a head on shot of the motor for a belt routing idea... serp belts are clearly used and i would like to see how this was accomplished... lots of shop time and even more drawing table time was spent on this build thats for sure!

The Master Cylinder (6/24/2012)
Starting to see more and more Y-Blocks and vintage engines in general at shows. Ya think people are FINALLY getting tired of SBC's in everything.

I've even noticed that the guys on the Barret-Jackson Auction shows on SPEED are starting to ping builders/sellers for non-Ford engines in Fords.

Awesome looking engine... for some reason the air bonnets look like the bottom of one of my wife's cake pans (if it was cut in half. Just saying. Starting to see more and more Y-Blocks and vintage engines in general at shows. Ya think people are FINALLY getting tired of SBC's in everything.

I've seen that show about that car as well. Very cool car mostly hand made along with a horrific amount of handmade parts. a Steve Mole (sp) coachbuilt car startin out as a 36 ford. If you have to ask how much it will cost, you can't afford it. Wink Also I think the guy that owns has several more car built by him. jeez.

Definitely not turbo's....but belt driven supechargers.

And I would suspect since we're only seeing one side of the engine since it's a split hood, that the other blower is in the same position, just on the passenger side.

That Air Cleaner Housing obviously looks custom made. Almost like the shape of the VS57, and then turned over to meet the air horn of the carbs. If this engine has twin blowers, where is the other one located? I only see one blower... don't y'all?

I think you would find the second turbo is connected to the rear air cleaner similar to the front.

There goes the neighborhood if everyone wants y blocks.

Pretty high end custom. Anyone found out who owns it? I'd love to see it at Columbus. I would expect it's trailered but still cool! People in the industry are realizing how unique and great a Y-block can look.  Chuck
