Think some folks don't trust themselves with "cash-in-hand". Afraid they'll blow it on something else before they find what they want. I'm negotiating (?) on a truck with a guy now who's that way. Haven't been able to pin him down on what he wants in trade or I'd try that angle. Being that he's 700 miles away from me makes it more difficult.
