The valve pockets will be on the valley side of the block.  As pictured, the pistons are upside down.

Okay...this is probably a "no-brainer" to some of you, but it's the first time I've installed forged, performance pistons that don't have a "front" marked on them so I just want to make sure I get this right the first time. The sprial lock wrist pin retainers are are such a challenge, I only want to do it once.

Below is a picture which I think is the correct orientation, with the curved part of the piston valve pocket facing the reliefs in the block. Is this right?
