I know this should be easy to fix, but so far I've wasted about $40.00 trying to cut to fit my bottom radiator hose. The vendor I purchased my new radiator
from installed a 2" outlet on the bottom of the radiator. My 1.75" hose cannot be forced over the outlet. I was wondering if anyone had the same problem,
if so how did you solve it. Possibly a part number or vender who helped you out, thanks for your help.

Most universal flex hoses come with the same size on both ends.My suggestion would be get the outlet on the rad changed to 1 3/4.Should't be expensive to have a rad shop do that.

Get a 2 inch hose in proper length and shape. Cut off approximately 2 inches of 1 3/4 hose and install. Now install the 2 inch hose. You will have short section of double hose. Use two clamps if you are uncomfortable with the double hose. I have never had a problem from this procedure, started using it when installing 51 flathead in 48 model car. Currently using this on a 390 engine and aluminum radiator.

The double hose goes on the engine end. Never thought of that one. Should work fine.

Those ribbed stainless radiator hoses all connect using a short hose adapter. They seem to work well. I have them on my roadster. Took a few tightenings but now they are tight and leak free. Chuck
