A few weeks ago I was asking for some advice to remove the stainless perimeter trim and base from the window glass on my Tbird. I also will be replacing the glass on my 65 Galaxie. Here is a video I found that explains a method that hopefully leads to a non-catastrophic outcome. The trim is very fragile and cannot be bent or distorted during the removal/installation. One thing that isn't mentioned is to carefully mark the original position on the glass before removal. This is to give a pattern or reference for fitting the old or new glass into the trim. I apologize for the dumbass comedic efforts that you have to endure to get to the subject at hand.
