I did a search before I posted this. I figured I'd find the torque specs for the upper & lower ball joints. No luck. Anyone have the info. I need the torque spec for the outer tie rod all so.

I guess the car I'm working on would help. 1957 Ford Fairlane 500

Using the 58 service manual as source: ball joints to upper or lower arm - 28-45ft.-lbs.

tie rod to idler arm - 45-55ft-lbs     tie rod to spindle arm - 45-55ft-lbs     tie rod sleeve clamps - 11-14ft-lbs

I hope this is helpful! James Q
