I'm having a senor moment........things are a bit fuzzy....



Question: Is one degree timing at the crank equal to 2 degrees in the distributor?



Now that's how I remember it. BUT, I can be wrong...

1 degree at the crank is .5 degree at the distributor.

Jim,

          Easiest way to remember is to remember that the cam turns at half the speed of the crank. Valves open every OTHER revolution. Clear as mud? When you set up a distributor everything is measured in "Distributor degrees." Which are half of the crank degrees.
