I recently sold a flex plate to a man who needed one for a cruiseomatic trans.the one i sold him came off of a 59 edsel 292 with 2 speed trans.He called me today and said the flex plate is different from the defective one he had with the cruiseomatic.Apparently the difference is the 2 speed has 3 mounting bolts and the other has 4 mounting bolts.The question i have is could he use the torque converter and flex plate off of the edsel 2 speed with the cruisomatic or are differences in the two torque converters.
