i have an AC fuel pump that came as a spare with the truck and have decided to rebuild it.
on stripping it one of the valves fell out, the pump has previously been remanufactured, and as i pondered which way it should fit i started to wonder why there were two valves above the vacuum diaphragm and two below.
am i right in thinking that the two above the diaphragm route air from the wipers to the inlet manifold and the two below route air from the wipers to the timing chain cover/crankcase area? a double acting pump?
i thought you try to lower pressure in the crankcase area but this looks to be pumping into the crank area??
just curios.
another thing , i just purchased a remanufactured FE starter motor and a sticker proclaimed "reman in china"
you post them to china and all the way back!!!!! i know some of you are sensitive to this issue
but how do you get the postage down. postage to the UK costs an arm and a leg.
