Good Morning everybody,

Will a thermostat housing from a ECZ-9425-A,  fit and work on a ECZ-9425-B.  Also are they identical in shape and style?

Thanks,

Ray

There are 3 thermostat housings. Any one of them could be on virtually any manifold. Just make sure it matches the one you are replacing and you're good.

The truck thremostats have a vertical hose connection while the passenger car thermostats have the hose connection facing towards the right (pssenger) side.

And the T-Bird one points straight forward, also uses a larger diameter hose.

And I'll add that the ’54 model cars and pickups used a ½” bypass hose instead of the 5/8” that was used on the later models.
