Since its going to be a couple more years until I can get the 292 in the 55 I am going back to the way I had it when I installed the 351,I had 289 valve covers with original 55 decals but the baffles hit the rocker arms and had to tweek them and the pcv would not fit all the way in so it got cheap aluminum valve covers and breather cap. I found a set of OEM valve covers from a 302 boat motor that had nothing stamped on them and no provisions for the plug wire holders so when they arrive will paint black and will get the interceptor decals along with the converted original air cleaner,when asked about the motor I will say its the rare police motor and they were testing the front mounted distributors to see how they would work in fleet service.
