Good Morning,

I am wanting to put a Holley 390 on my 1955 Crown Vic.  However I have the old vacuum distributor.

I have heard to purchase a 1957 or newer distributor.  My question is want year is really the best year to purchase?   Also what vehicle should I tell the parts attendant I want it for?

Thanks,

Ray

Ray-Ask for one for a 1964 Ford F100 pickup with 292.Last year used in N.America.Check around for price as they all come from same place as a rebuilt but different suppliers charge different prices. You need a cap and rotor for 57-74 Ford also. How did you do with your power steering leak?Distributor # is Carcone 30-2808.This is the rebuilders part #.Same as what is in your local parts store catalog.
