Can someone please tell me what is the difference between a "D" engine FEJ-A2 and an "E" engine FEJ-B2? What about the "F" and "C"?

This is purely a guess, but I would say that since the D carb and the E carbs are completely different in design, that the vacuum signal for the vacuum advance would be different, so the diaphragm sizes and/or the springs would be different.

The '57 Birds came with two different distributors, a single point and a dual point other then that the various numbers were production numbers.

There are quite a few specific differences in the dizzys.

While the C,D and E dizzys are essencially the same except for vaccum advances, centrifical springs rates, the F dizzys have a bunch of different parts such as the dual point top plate and the rotor cam.
