Would painting aluminum heads reduce their heat dissipating capabilities?

End of the Line could be our theme song - When Tom Petty sings - "Don't have to be ashamed of the car I drive - at the end of the line". If its a 50's Ford Not. Maybe so if its a scrub.

Ted (2/23/2013) Only a very critical eye could discern the aluminum heads from the iron versions once they are painted. Even the Ford ECZ-G part numbers are under the intake water ports for those that want to verify the part number. So they'd be legal for PURE Stock?!!! SSSH! HMMMM! Traveling Wilburys! Gary That dates you, and me, cause I remember them!

Sure they would Frank! As long as you can get them past the magnet test. I doubt if many of the inspectors know about the Mummert heads so I think you could get buy for a while. Another 50HP would be real interesting on your 57. Chuck
Y's guys rule! Looking for McCullouch VS57 brackets and parts. Also looking for 28 Chrysler series 72 parts. And early Hemi parts.
