Hi, I was wondering if anyone has dimensions on the small plunger that sits in front of the camshaft in the 368 engine. There is also a spring behind this. Have a friend in Austria who are building up their engine and does not have this. Now he thought getting a manufactured when it seems difficult to buy this even in the U.S. I have a 368 engine but do not want to tear it out of my car to measure this. Is there anyone who can help me to get these measurements? Wow

I just fabricated the plunger for my 368.. 1.1 inch x .625 dia.. Do not use a stiff spring behind the plunger.. The spring keeps light contact with the front cover oil pressure applies the force to hold the cam in place

Hey,

Thanks for the fast answer, i just made today a bolt with 1.1 * 0.625 inch and it seems to be very short (the spring press just 2mm inside) after searching again in the web, i found that the shaft should be 1 19/64 * 0.625. which (then the spring press about 7mm inside) which lenght had the original part EAD-6275-B

Thanks and BR
