Hi, I was wondering if anyone has dimensions on the small plunger that sits in front of the camshaft in the 368 engine.There is also a spring behind this. Have a friend in Austria who are building up their engine and does not have this.Now he thought getting a manufactured when it seems difficult to buy this even in the U.S. I have a 368 engine but do not want to tear it out of my car to measure this. Is there anyone who can help me to get these measurements?

I just fabricated the plunger for my 368.. 1.1 inch x .625 dia.. Do not use a stiff spring behind the plunger.. The spring keeps light contact with the front cover oil pressure applies the force to hold the cam in place

Thanks for the fast answer, i just made today a bolt with 1.1 * 0.625 inch and it seems to be very short (the spring press just 2mm inside) after searching again in the web, i found that the shaft should be 1 19/64 * 0.625. which (then the spring press about 7mm inside) which lenght had the original part EAD-6275-B
