Not sure about 56 but I know 57 up to late model ford trucks will swap out, all you have to do is bend the bolt area on the front track, the rear lines up and after bending the front to line up they fit

Are you using a stock seat then or did you swap it for something more comfortable? Im looking for options to swap seats in both a cab with gas tank in stock location and gas tank outside the cab.

Darrell, I removed the tank from behind the seat and installed a poly tank in the rear between the frame rails. The filler is in the bed of the truck.

Where theres Y blocks theres usually 56 fords. Has anyone had any sucess in swapping seats in a 56 Ford-100 cab in either of two options.........stock fuel tank moved from inside cab(behind seat) to rear end between frame rails, or, fuel tank left in stock location (behind seat)?
