I have been messing around with a couple Buick 215 all aluminum motors recently (61-63). Tonight I looked at a 215 bare block setting on the bench and behold: the block skirts come well below the crank centerline, in close proportionis to the Y.
The Lincs, MELs, FEs, and now BOP 215s?
