Just out of curiosity those of you that are running 465 or 450 Holleys what size main jets are you running, say stock 292. Any other tricks..?
I cant seem to run anything other than the black secondary spring, without really feeling the secondaries kicking in..

If it's working right you won't "feel" the secondaries open. What people feel is actually a flat spot when the carb goes lean from opening too quickly.

I'm about to try a 1848 (465 cfm) on my 256 Merc and it has 55 mains and an 8.5 power valve. I'll post the results next week. Bruce
