I bought a Cruise O Matic from a 1960 Ford Galaxie station wagon that had a 292. The block was a B 9 but the heads were CAOE. It had the cast iron bell, the ring gear on the flexplate and the 29 spline input shaft.

I have been looking for one of these for quite a while and then it just showed up on Craigslist. So they do still exist the only problem is finding one. I looked at a lot of air cooled FOM that were described as JUST WHAT YOU WANT including what must have been one from a flathead V8.

The plan for the 1960 Galaxie is a 406 and C6 which should be able to move what has to be one of the biggest cars Ford ever made. Pete
