I wouldn't spray composite gaskets. They should seal just fine without it and it will be a pita if/when you remove the heads in the future.

i have a set of best composite head gaskets ready to go on my 239 y. should I spray them with the copper gasket spray or not? would it hurt? I am not an engine builder, I just do my own work and want to do the right thing here, thanks, doug.
