I'm running a 59 f100 with C4 using the flat-o-matic adapter. Its a manual vb c4 and I managed to rip the splines out of a stock type hughes converter. All of the converters I could find that had upgraded turbine hubs are using 7/16th studs instead of the 3/8 stock style.

My question is, the converter I purchased has threaded holes for using studs or bolts(7/16 thread), I plan to run a 7/16 stud and use a piece tubing the same thickness as the flat-o stud extender to space out the converter for the kit. Any reason this won't work?
