New here and hoping for some info. I'm in the process of putting a 292 with a 3speed automatic out of a 64 pick up in my 49 ford sedan. The transmission did not come with a filler tube/dipstick and I'm having a hell of a time fining one. Its the one mounted on the side. Any info on where I might get one....I was thinking the fmx dipstick that summit offers might work but I figured if anybody would know it would be you guys ....Any help would be great

Ken:

Your tube threads into the side of the oil pan, does it not? The FMX tube slips into a hole in the case and seals with an O ring. Not interchangeable.

Hey Ken. Where do ya hang your hat? I got one but really don't need the hassle of shipping it right now. Bring a truck, it's still attached to Fordo/FMX Hydrid.w00tw00t
