It's time to do the interior of my 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan. I want to keep it original, so I'm looking for a supplier/vendor who sells quality material and so far the only supplier I've found is LeBaron Bonney. If anyone knows of other manufacturers of interior kits for my car, I would really appreciate the info. Thank you, Ron!

I got a catalog recently from Larry's Thunderbird & Mustang Parts. It's a 54-57 Ford Passenger catalog. It lists 55 and 56 club sedan interiors. They're in Corona California.

I have used SMS Auto Fabrics in the past with good results on a Cadillac I had owned. I read recent reviews about them on the web and I have doubts about them now.

My '56 has a LeBaron Bonney cloth/vinyl interior. Twelve years down the track and still in great condition. Was very expensive at the time, but worth it.

I have a '55 Fairlane Club sedan with the green interior and sent for the sample kit from LeBaron Bonney. Maybe it's the car's age or me, but I swear all the colors sent are significantly bluer (versus green) than what is in the car. It only has 43,000 miles so I'm pretty sure it's original. Just have some issues with the top of the back seat and staining on the door panels. I haven't found anything better so far, but will check into the options listed above. Love this site!

I have a Lebaron and Bonney interior for my 55 Tudor Customline. Absolutely correct with all material even down to the ribs on the door panels. May not seem cheap when you are pricing it but the quality is exceptional. Should have it finally installed pretty soon. It has been a long journey restoring my car.

Rick,
What sort of cost for the interior landed in Aus?
Did you do the seats too?

Cheers

Rick, you,r right, quality is not expensive! MY 56 sunliner trim came from Ron at ABC Upholstery in PA. quality, quality, quality! If i,m not mistaken they were taken up by Lebarron/bonney when he retired? Probably noticable to trim here is that its thicker.http://forums.y-blocksforever.com/Uploads/Images/e82bc4a1-ff8f-4b20-a036-1e89.JPG
