On original T-Bird dipstick tubes, the bracket fits under the center exhaust manifold bolt.

On my 57 bird with a 312 someone put the wrong engine oil dipstick tube on it. I ordered the correct one but cant seem to find where on the block the bracket bolts to. Any help? Thanks in advance.
