Hi All,

Trying to get the old gal back on the road from a deep sleep. I found a person in new Jersey that rebuilds these older units. I was looking for a modern approach, just in case I need to replace parts I can go to auto parts and find a replacement and eliminate having to use a specialist. I've looked at Summit and noticed they have universal 7" power booster with MC but this was listed for Chevy Impalas, Belair's etc.

Want to know what others had success with minor mods? Any Mustang T-Birds later model Ford suggestions, my Merc is stock drum / drum setup auto tranny stock engine.

Thanks

Mario

Is this unit firewall mounted?Theres a fellow on Ebay that sells the dual 7 inch boosters and dual Master Cylinders.I have one on my 56 Ford and several others have purchased from him. He's in New Mexico but ships everywhere and he sells direct if you email him.I will try and find his email and post it.

There was a booster unit that usually was dealer installed in the 50s and early 60s that worked really well and it mounted on the fender well, and could be used with on any make or model of car. I can't remember who made it but it stall can be found at swap meets.
