I'm in the age group whose fathers decided WWII in favor of the Allied forces. He's gone two years now - but not forgotten......



He was always proud to be able celebrate this day and join the other veterans in remembering their friends and comrades.

Pop was in the Pacific - made 11 landings. He said they were a sort of delivery service - he was in one of the shore party companies. I went to one of his reunions in Las Vegas - sobering - 5 guys showed up from the shore parties and 55 from the boat crews.
