Im going to buy some speed bleeders, anyone bought some for there 56 fairlane.. numbers? unfortunately "speedbleeders" don't have a listing as far back as the 50's for Ford.
Or anyone know the size [pitch] of the bleeders. Eg. 3/8 x 24.. [that's for early 40's ]
Cheers...

The brake bleeders are 3/8"x24, 1 11/16". The speed bleeders from the suppliers should fit. http://www.classicperform.com/speed-bleeder/speed-bleeder.htm
They have a 3/8"x24 available.

Cheers Rick ! I wondered if they would be the same as the early ones.. You can buy direct from speedbleeders Very reasonable with postage as well. They work so well on the pickup and now I don't have to listen to my daughter whining when I comes to doing the brakes!
