hi I just got my first y block and got to get it running its been sitting since the 70s...I found some repop fento valve covers anyone on here have a set do they fit good? I know I should get it going before I buy valve covers but just curious

Depends on the price. Some folks think Y parts are made of precious metals. You can get new Edelbrock styles for about $280. Or sometimes used on EBAY for less. Chuck

John Mummert has cast aluminum "Mummert Script" valve covers at a way better price. Google Ford Y Block. Mine fit good.
