I have been getting all my issues since I signed up over 3 years ago, I also pass it on to l friends but they must return it when they are done with. It's one of my favorite publications. Love the way it is put together and the all color pictures and articles are great. My 2 cents. Gerry

Hey guys, I am not sure what is going on with LFM, have been in conversations with Colin and they are NOT defunct. If you are having issues with subscriptions, shoot Dianne (Office Mgr) an e-mail directly at dianne@legendaryfordmagazine.com I have sent an e-mail to both of them with a link to this thread so that they will be aware of what is going on. You can also call them at 1-800-857-7772 If they are not aware that you are having a problem, then you can bet that they won't be able to fix it! My understanding is that they not do the mailings, that is done from the printer in Colorado. My guess is that the problem lies there, not in Oregon (Colin's and Dianne's home).

Tom Compton (10/26/2006)
I emailed and it came back undeliverable. Not a typo, copy/paste from web site. Will try to call but don't see any reason to renew. 1 delivery in a year makes it damned expensive. TC Tom, did you get your subscription issues resolved? I would expect that a phone call will get any missing issues sent to your door (providing a neighbor isn't hoarding them).

I emailed them and told them about recieving the same issue as the last and they replied that they would send me the current issue. I just got back from the UK and it has not arrived yet, so I am eagerly waiting.

As an update to Tom's dilemma, I received e-mail from Dianne Date and it seems that Tom moved last year and LFM had no record of that move. The Post Office does not necessarily forward magazines and periodicals so most likely they went into file 13 as undeliverable. He is being sent all back issues that he missed (they are being sent out today) so Tom, please let us know when you receive them. I still totally stand behind LRM as a class act and had no doubt that if they were made aware of the problem, that they would resolve it immediately. If any of you have any problems with subscription delivery, PLEASE contact LFM immediately! This will avoid problems that end up causing hard feelings. The phone number listed on the front of the site does work (I call them), and Dianne's e-mail (as well as Colin's) are active and work. Rule #1: Don't sweat the small stuff Rule #2: It's ALL small stuff

I did receive an email stating some of the back issues are being sent to the new address. They had the same whine that the PO doesn't forward magazines. Jim, I did not get anything between December 2005 and July 2006 when I moved. AND, I have received other magazines that were forwarded. I know the Post Office is sorry but I don't see blaming this one all on them. TC

Ok, this is the last I am gonna say on this subject. Why did you just now raise the issue? You have seen the blurb on the front page of the site with their phone # for going on two years and this flag should have been raised a long time ago. In my humble opinion, they could not respond to a problem that they didn't know about. Did you call the # shown on the front page of the site? I have called it several times (not with problems) and have always either gotten a live body or been able to leave a voice mail which always gets me a call or e-mail back very quickly. I removed one advertiser from the Links section because he was totally non responsive to problems with his product after repeated e-mails. If I felt that Colin was unresponsive then I wouldn't be pro LFM. The fact that Dianne DID respond immediately when she was informed that there was a problem is a very good indication that had this been addressed many months ago, hard feelings would have been avoided. I hope that you have your back issues by the weekend and that you don't just toss them aside. It is a good publication and they give VERY preferrential treatment to the Y-Block folks. Many of you that read this may not realize that the ad space for this site in each issue of the magazine is donated by Colin and Dianne! I create the ad, but they give us the place to showcase it. That ad space is worth a lot of money that they are giving up just because they think that we have the neatest folks around. I would hope that after this settles down that they will continue to think as highly of each of the people here as I do. Having said all that, You guys are the best! I am privileged to get to be the housekeeper for what has become the crossroads for Y-Blockers all over the planet. Let's keep it going! Good communications is the key to lot of things in life!
